AVAILABLE ORCHESTRATIONS

Few works in classical music command attention quite like Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D Minor. From its thunderous opening gesture, the music is bold, mysterious, and filled with dramatic energy — a sound world that has captivated listeners for centuries.

In arranging this iconic organ work for chamber orchestra, my goal was not to reinvent Bach, but to translate the grandeur of the original into a new orchestral palette. The challenge was to preserve the power and architecture of the organ while allowing its spirit to breathe through color, texture, and instrumental dialogue.

The Toccata unfolds with flashes of light and shadow, while the Fugue reveals Bach’s mastery of counterpoint — each line weaving seamlessly into the next, building toward a powerful and inevitable conclusion. This adaptation aims to illuminate Bach’s timeless genius through a modern orchestral lens, proving that this music remains as thrilling today as it was three hundred years ago.
